The work on paper which are mostly pastel, pigment and graphite offers the viewer the opportunity to live the sunrise of the coastline of Castlehaven. As someone who is fortunate to live in Inane looking out to sea I can tell you that the early morning sky can differ in intensity every day and the mixture of emotions that the elements produce can stun you with their gathering beauty. Rachel has captured these in her series of works on paper and gives you the opportunity to live for yourself the very fortunate position that Rachel calls home. These pieces are subtle and pay homage to the breaking day FOM.
