I have had the pleasure of working with Ken for the last years and a half and he has created an outstanding collection of paintings for this event. He draws on his experiences at Cill Rialiag, the artists retreat in Kerry and also uses his love of music and especially Arvo Part to colour his creations. His horizions are drawn from the views of the kerry coastline but also exudes tempo and movement as in a piece of music. You could say the work is orchestrated as if Ken was conducting an overture and in many ways this describes best what Ken is trying to achieve.
